An exotic white, showing apricot, vanilla cream and a hint of coconut on a heavy-weight frame. This is unevolved and impressive, with a lot of spice on the finish.

Domaine Leflaive

The Domaine Leflaive produces Burgundy wines and was founded in 1920 by Joseph Leflaive. Initially, he sold his wines to friends, then gradually built up a private clientele. After his death in 1953, the Domaine Leflaive was managed by his four children.

In 1990, Anne-Claude Leflaive took over the management of the estate with Olivier Leflaive, who left the company in 1994 to focus on his own trading business. Today, Anne-Claude Leflaive has full responsibility for the estate, to which she owes its transition to biodynamic cultivation in order to reduce yields and elevate the quality of the already magnificent wines to even greater heights.

Through the selection of growths, the significant size of the plots, and the absolute certainty of style, Domaine Leflaive is the white wine equivalent of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, that is to say, the absolute benchmark in terms of quality.
