The 1979 is an elegant, supple, very fruity wine, with the smell of ripe plums and spicy, vanillin oak very prominently displayed. Medium bodied, with medium to dark ruby color and a lush, nicely concentrated texture, this is not a big, hefty, rich Pomerol, but rather a suave, delicate, yet fruity, interesting wine.

Neighbor Petrus, Chateau La Fleur Petrus, Pomerol is a remarkable, fine and round, one of the largest Pomerol, absolutely indispensable and yet accessible, so to speak. The terroir of Chateau La Fleur Petrus, plays its full role, with a deep bass that soil imparts to wine a natural elegance and finesse. The cabernet franc, used in larger amounts, gives superb results, with wines to wait almost ten years!.
