Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The 1999 Vielles Vignes Francaises is simply stunning. Layers of perfumed red raspberries, flowers and spices flow onto the palate with breathtaking beauty. The mousse is exceptionally fine, as is everything about this wine. Although the wine possesses superb density and richness, it remains light on the palate and supremely graceful. This bottle was disgorged in July, 2008.

Château Bollinger
Bollinger
The history of Bollinger, founded in 1829 in Champagne in the village of Aÿ, is that of a family who has always passionately defended a unique know-how. The famous "Aunt Lily", who presided over the destiny of the House from 1941, established very strict quality rules that would guide, from then on and still today, the leaders who would succeed her.
