Château Langoa Barton is a Bordeaux wine estate located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the Gironde department. The estate covers over 20 hectares with the following grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Cabernet Franc (11%), Merlot (35%). The Château produces only red wines. The average age of the vines is 35 years. Since 1855, it has been classified as a Second Growth in the official Médoc classification. The grapes are traditionally harvested by hand. Vinification is done by plot, mostly in temperature-controlled wooden vats of 200 hectoliters, before aging for 18 months in barrels with 50 to 70% new oak.

The greatest vintages of the Château are 1982, 1985, and also the 1989 vintage. Regarding recent vintages, we recommend the Château Langoa Barton 2000 and Château Langoa Barton 2009.
