The vineyard extends across four communes of the Sauternes region: Sauternes, Preignac, Bommes and even Barsac. It is quite fragmented, which is common in the Sauternes area. The majority is located in the Boutoc district, in the heart of the appellation territory. It is bordered by the production areas of the classified great growths: Yquem, Suduiraut, Lafaurie-Peyraguey and Rabaud-Promis THE GRAPE VARIETIES: 75% Sémillon - 20% Sauvignon and 5% MuscadelleTHE TERROIR: Sandy-gravelly soils. Clay in sublayers at varying depths.THE VINIFICATION: Pressing, fermentation and mutage. Two years of aging in barrels. Racking every 3 months, fining, filtration and bottling.THE PRODUCTION The average annual production is 18 barrels per hectare.
