Château Sigalas Rabaud Sauternes premier cru classé 1855. The Chateau Sigalas-Rabaud, is a vineyard located in the Gironde Bommes. Sauternes AOC, it is ranked first vintage in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. Area: 14. 25 acres of contiguous. Location: Terrace Sauternes. Soil: Graves on clay on the upper, clay-sandy-gravelly hillside. Spacing: 6500-7500 feet / acre.Grape varieties: 85% Semillon, 14% Sauvignon, 1% Muscadelle. Average age of vines: 40 years. Harvest: manual to 100% by successive selections with sorting grapes on the vine.
