Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
This wine has tasted fully mature since bottling, yet it has lost none of its sweet, creamy, curranty fruit or tobacco, herb-scented aromatics. Always a soft, low acid wine, it continues to provide delicious drinking in a supple style. Recent vintages of La Louviere have been more forcefully constructed, with greater extract, color, and intensity. Because of that, they are less charming in their youth.
