Jancis Robinson November - 2014

Mid crimson. Lighter than Clos de Vougeot on the nose. Lots of sweet red cherry fruit but not as intense as the Clos de Vougeot. Very gentle and sweet but a little loose. Chewy end so perhaps it will all come right. Not that much persistence and a tad drying.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
Unfurling in the glass with notes of wild red berries, spices and nicely integrated new oak, the 2013 Richebourg Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, with a nicely layered mid-palate that's framed by fine, elegantly chalky tannins and tangy acids, concluding with a penetrating finish. This is an understated but nicely balanced effort that might well turn out to be one of the longer-lived young wines in this tasting, given its energy and appealing balance.

Jeannie Cho Lee November - 2014
Jeannie Cho Lee
Beautiful blackberry and strawberry fruit in this grand cru with a spicy, floral expression on the palate. There is nice acid-fruit tension here with silky tannins. This is not a big wine; it is linear and pure made from vines that are more than 50 years old.
