(09-2015) Quite simple Bordeaux with notes of leather and dried red currant. The tannins have softened and it is delicious to drink now, but won't keep much longer.
(10-1992) Balanced and integrated, with typical black cherry, chocolate and toast flavors. Should develop nicely.
(10-2005) A garnet/deep brick hue. An attractive nose of cigar box and rusty nail: overtly secondary aromas but not diffuse. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly coarse tannins. Black dusty fruit, a little under ripeness and a note of "iron filings" and ground coffee on the finish. Despite everything, I still quite enjoyed this, although the 1990 is better.
