Maison Gelas Et Fils
The Gelas et Fils house has a selection of Armagnacs that was initiated by Pierre Gélas 60 years ago. These are blends that are either reduced to 40%/vol or left at their natural degree, and filtered before bottling. Through his experience and knowledge of different terroirs, he has been able to establish a choice of very varied spirits. The main principle, innovative at the time, was to bottle the spirits straight from the barrel, that is to say at aging degree and without filtration. For some batches, the bottling dates are very old. The Gelas et Fils house offers spirits at a time deemed optimal for aging.
