The 1988 is a more typical (or as the Bordelais would have you believe, more classic) effort, with an alluring and precocious, big bouquet of plummy fruit and sweet vanillin-scented oak. This wine offers exuberantly rich, fruity, opulent flavors, medium to full body, and a long, satiny finish.
