Light ruby in color. Scents of tobacco, roses, chocolate fudge, earth, minerals, plums, a hint of cinnamon and forest smell's waft from the glass. Medium to full bodied and filled with juicy black plums with black cherries that end with opulent, elegant, smooth sensations in the finish. Fully mature, this might not improve, but it's going to deliver ample pleasure for at least another decade.

Dark red color. Good intensity. Slight evolution but not so much. Still young. Nose of medium intensity. Rather fine and fresh. Very fruity. This is a fairly complex bouquet with notes of cedar. Surprising freshness. Beautiful persistence on agitation. Beautiful licorice evolution. Unctuous and caressing entry on the palate, developing smoothly on a tender body and lots of flavor, notably a smoky touch. The wine evolves very flavorsome, on fine tannins and lots of freshness. Beautiful persistence on a taste of cherry and raspberry. Very pleasant to drink.

Ruby purple, not so intense as the Gruaud. Good fruit pastille nose - slightly sweet and sugary. Plummy, chocolatey depth. Opulent mouth feel and a good finish. Very good but lacking some of the character of the Gruaud. Didn't really grab me.

Delicious red. Medium-ruby color. Aromas of tobacco, ripe berry and earth. Medium- to full-bodied, with soft tannins and a chocolate, meat and fresh fruit aftertaste.

Château la Dominique
Château la Dominique is a typical Saint Emilion, with notes of ripe black fruits, blackcurrant, and licorice. On the palate, it is pleasant and full-bodied, with tannins that will soften over the years. Excellent value for money, it will be perfect between 6 and 10 years of age.
