Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate

(01-1998) The sweet 1990 exhibits sur-maturite (over-ripeness). It offers up a weedy, tobacco, jammy, cassis-scented nose intertwined with aromas of licorice and earth. Dense, with a late harvest-like ripeness in the mouth, this full-bodied, low acid, huge, chewy, fleshy wine is already too tasty to resist.

Château la Dominique

Chateau La Dominique Saint Emilion is a typical, with notes of black fruits, well ripe, cassis, liquorice. On the palate it shows is fun, full-bodied with tannins that become more fused with the years. Very good value for money, it will be perfect between 6 and 10 years.
