The vineyards of Château Camensac is located on the edge of the appellation Saint-Julien, the terroir of the town of Saint-Laurent-du-Medoc. The castle Camensac after a gap of a few decades, evidence has resumed the tradition of quality that won him the honors of the 1855 classification. The revival of the castle is undoubtedly attributable to Camensac immense efforts by the Forner family since 1964. "The data of nature, so beneficial they are, do not constitute in themselves a guarantee of producing exceptional" says the owner of the castle Camensac. The vineyards of Château Camensac is located on the edge of the appellation Saint-Julien, the terroir of the town of Saint-Laurent-du-Medoc. Located on what is arguably the most beautiful ridge of the town, the castle Camensac based on its philosophy of producing strictly a concept "artisanal". Thus, every vintage, every tank is a unique entity that should be treated as such, ruling out any systematic or holistic assessment.

My conclusion is that 1988 is a very good vintage and currently undervalued; but in the end, time and tannin will be jostling for supremacy.
