Expert's opinions

Information on the vintage 1988 red Bordeaux: My conclusion is that 1988 is a very good vintage and currently undervalued; but in the end, time and tannin will be jostling for supremacy.

Château Camensac

The vineyard of Château Camensac is located on the edge of the Saint-Julien appellation, in the commune of Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc. After experiencing a decline for several decades, Château Camensac has clearly reconnected with the tradition of quality that earned it honors in the 1855 classification. The revival of Château Camensac is undoubtedly attributable to the immense efforts made by the Forner family since 1964.

"The gifts of nature, however beneficial they may be, cannot in themselves guarantee exceptional production" emphasizes the owner of Château Camensac. The vineyard is located on the edge of the Saint-Julien appellation, on the terroir of the Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc commune.
