Château Bel Air Lagrave
The Château Bel-Air Lagrave vineyard, a family property for 150 years, Cru Bourgeois in the 1932 classification, is located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, in the "Moulis-en-Médoc" controlled designation of origin area and is entirely situated on the gravelly hilltops of Grand-Poujeaux, a privileged site within the appellation. A constant focus on quality guides the vineyard management: severe pruning, no chemical weeding, exclusively manual harvesting. In this same spirit, the owners, the SEGUIN-BACQUEY family, practice thoughtful winemaking, respectful of Médoc traditions and a long family heritage; however, modern techniques, such as temperature control, are used to achieve flawless vinification.
