Château Le Crock is a Bordeaux wine estate located in the commune of Saint Estèphe. The vineyard spans over 32 hectares and boasts an exceptional terroir composed of gravel, sand on the surface, and clay in the subsoil. The grape varieties harvested there are Cabernet Sauvignon (53%), Merlot (33%), Cabernet Franc (9%), and Petit Verdot (5%). Recognized as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Supérieur in 1932, then Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 2020, Château Le Crock maintains a special relationship with the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois du Médoc. The estate also produces a second wine called 'Château La Croix St-Estèphe'.
The vintages to prioritize are 1945, 1961, 1966, the 1975 vintage, as well as the 1982 vintage. We also recommend the Château Le Crock 1986, Le Crock 1990, and Château Le Crock 2009.

In 1913, the Cuvelier Family acquired its first Classified Growth of 1855, Château Camensac (5th Classified Growth of 1855 - Saint-Laurent commune), and sold it in 1964. After the Great War, in 1920, it was the turn of Château Léoville-Poyferré, Second Classified Growth of Saint-Julien and Château Moulin Riche, exceptional Cru Bourgeois in 1932. After acquiring the Merman's wine flagship with Le Crock, it is now the turn of the most notable Lawton property.
