Château Labégorce is a wine estate in the Bordeaux region with a Margaux appellation. The vineyard extends over 70 hectares, with classic Bordeaux grape varieties: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and only 2% Petit Verdot.
The estate produces a round and powerful fine red wine, Château Labégorce, and a second wine, Zédé de Labégorce, in memory of the former name of one of the three properties born from the division of Château Labégorce in 1795.

Château Labégorce is located on the central plateau of the Margaux appellation in the village of the same name. It is part of the Médoc vineyard in Bordeaux.
The estate's origins date back to the 14th century. The origin of the Château's name is not confirmed, but it most likely comes from the owners at the time, the La Bégorce family or from Abbé Gorsse.
Following the French Revolution, many family properties were seized by the State, including Château Labégorce, which lost its name in 1795 after being sold and divided into three parts: Labégorce, Labégorce-Zédé, and l'Abbé Gorsse de Gorsse.
French billionaire and oil tycoon Hubert Perrodo purchased Château Labégorce in 1989 and the other two properties between 2002 and 2005 to reunify the former estate according to historical criteria, allowing Château Labégorce to reclaim its name. His family also owns Château Marquis d'Alesme, a Third Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.
Since then, the Perrodo family has restored Château Labégorce to its former glory and contributes to the architectural renovation and dynamism of the estate.
The Château Labégorce property extends over nearly 250 hectares, including 70 hectares of vines. Its typical Margaux terroir consists of sandy gravels and some silty soils.
The vineyard's grape varieties consist of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot.
The estate produces a fine red wine Château Labégorce, with the finesse and elegance of its appellation. A wine with beautiful structure and fruity aromas that make it both round and powerful.
The château also produces a red second wine, "Zédé de Labégorce", a nod to the former Labégorce-Zédé property. This should not be confused with Château Labégorce-Zédé, a name still carried by the estate's older vintages produced before the reunification.
Château Labégorce and Château Labégorces-Zédé were unified from the 2009 vintage for the production of a single wine.
The best vintages from both estates combined are: 1928, 1929, 1947, 1949, 1955, 1959, 1961, 1975, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2005, 2009, 2015, 2016
