Domaine Barons De Rothschild Rieussec

The Château Rieussec is a french estate of Bordeaux located in Fargues in Gironde. The Château only porduces sweet white wines. The vineyard has 85 hectares with sauvignon blanc (7%), sémillon (90%) and muscadelle (3%). In Sauternes appellation, it is a first cru classé of Bordeaux classification in 1855.

The wines of Châteaux Rieussec are rich, elegant... The vest vintages are 1929, 1955, 1957 ou encore le millésime 1959. Also, we suggest the Château Rieussec 1976.

In 1984, Château Rieussec had a new owner: Baron Eric de Rothschild, who fell in love with the wine and the property. It was he who would do everything to raise the quality of the wines.
