Château Pavie Decesse is a Bordeaux wine estate. Located in the southeast of Saint Emilion village, the Château has a small vineyard of 4 hectares composed mainly of Merlot (90%) and complemented by Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is 43 years. Château Pavie Decesse is a Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification.
This wine exemplifies the classic Saint Emilion style: fleshy, complex and tannic. Château Pavie Decesse has good aging potential and depending on the vintage, it can be cellared for decades. Among the finest achievements, the 1982, 1985, and 1989 vintages are particularly noteworthy. We also recommend Pavie Decesse 2001, Pavie Decesse 2005, and Pavie Decesse 2009.
