Château Gloria
Château Gloria is a wine estate in Bordeaux, located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in Gironde. The vineyard covers 44 hectares and produces wines under the Saint-Julien AOC. On a soil made of Günzian gravel, the vineyard is planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. While homogeneous on the surface with a sea of pebbles, the subsoil reveals a complexity that creates the variety of Saint-Julien wines.
The wines of Château Gloria have an intense and dark color, the 2006 vintage exhales powerful aromas of black fruits. The palate reveals notes of spices, blackcurrant, and chocolate. The finish is pure and long. We recommend the Château Gloria 1996 and the Château Gloria 2005.
