Expert's opinions

Information on the vintage 1952 red Bordeaux: 2- The growing season was very satisfactory up until September which was cold and unsettled. The harvest was fairly early and I suspect the unripeness of some of the cro is responsible for its variability. Best in the Graves and on the Right Bank.

Château Lyonnat
Lyonnat
Chateau Lyonnat, Grand vin de Bordeaux, Lussac St. Emilion, Milhade group. It is produced on a 32-hectare hillside vineyard. Some vineyard plots are over twenty years old. Meticulous sorting of the harvest. - 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Chateau Lyonnat is a wine for aging that pairs wonderfully with red meats, game, leg of lamb, and strong cheeses.
