Information on the 2005 vintage:
It is no exaggeration to describe the 2005 vintage in Bordeaux, as exceptional, in the sense that a splendid climate, a real fairy tale for winemaker, has induced a homogeneous crop, perfectly ripe and a relatively small volume. A perspective that gives legitimacy to think, even more than in 2000, that this vintage is of a high overall quality and will produce a good anthology of wine, which we will know throughout the almost limitless aging period!

Hauterive

Facing south-west, the vineyard occupies a slope on clay and gravel above the village of Vire-sur-Lot, the senior Vire, where the anagram of Hauterive. Malbec is the origin of this ruby wine delivers aromas of tart fruit mixed with chocolate and roasting. The charm works at the palace, in contact with the flesh frank, both fresh and round.
