The two regions that have been most successful are St. Emilion and Pomerol. The first produced rich, full and intense that have evolved rapidly. As for the second, it was its fourth successive great vintage. These are incredibly rich wines, smooth and concentrated, which may even, in some cases, rival the most successful Pomerol 1947 and 1949.
