Château Valoux
Valoux
Château Valoux is a former Graves estate located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Château Valoux, which is situated on the border of Cadaujac and Martillac, adjoins Bouscaut. The two properties have been united since 1929. Château Valoux, with about ten hectares in a single block, presents a terroir very similar to that of Bouscaut (predominantly clay and gravel on a limestone base). The property is home to some magnificent Sémillon vines. We are currently in a restructuring phase on many plots due to unsatisfactory combinations of grape varieties, rootstocks, and soils. The vinification for both red and white wines is the same as for the wines of Château Bouscaut and Château Lamothe-Bouscaut: traditional but with fewer new barrels.
