Talented winemakers from father to son, wine is a matter of passion for the Ampeau family. Michel Ampeau is now solely in charge of the Robert Ampeau estate following his father's death. He manages about ten hectares, two-thirds of which are red wines. He only offers mature wines, well-balanced red wines with typical tannins full of charm that develop good persistence and aromatic complexity with red fruit notes.
