The family history began in the fifteenth century ALBRECHT in 1425 with Roman Albrecht, installed the first winemaker in Thann. Heir to a long dynasty, Jean Albrecht manages, with some thirty acres, one of the most important areas of Alsace. A meticulous work carried out in the vineyard as organic cultivation, and harvesting is manual. The estate, with the largest area of Grand Cru Pfingstberg, including the Clos Schild, produced with a regularity worthy of praise from well-balanced wine, with aromas and free and clear and attractive value for money. Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois and Riesling Reserve are undeniable good value and are drunk with delight on the fruit. . A seductive wine that can still grow and... Our cellar dates from 1772. It is home to oak barrels more than a century old (earliest is 1827) and alongside the modern air-conditioned cellars. The bottling line vacuum benefits from the latest innovations. . .
