A beautifully transparent '98 St. Emilion with nice depth of charcoal-tinged black fruits and superb delineation and cut. Light on its feet with lovely notes of charcoal minerals and the right touch of smoked chocolate with a layered and refined finish. Lovely stuff still on the upswing.

The nose offers a bouquet of spices, licorice, and black fruits wrapped in an earthy scent. The palate is full, concentrated with black fruits and refined tannins. A beautiful length with a still dominant, smooth, and flattering oakiness. Opulent finish with black fruits and spices. Blend: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc
