The only Pinot Noir Champagne from the current release of single-vineyard wines by this producer has magnificent richness and presence. The wine's structure is complex, hinting at tannins as well as packed with a mélange of fruit and toastiness. Although this very fine wine is ready to drink now, it is sure to age further.

Green Guide 2021 Pinot has not said its last word here and Vauzelle Terme reveals itself after a long aeration. The wine is muscular, tight, but very promising.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
Disgorged without dosage in May 2019, the 2009 Extra-Brut Grand Cru Aÿ - Vauzelle Terme is showing nicely, offering up inviting aromas of pear, honeycomb, dried white flowers and hints of dried fruit and nuts. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly fleshy and vinous, it's broad and textural, with ripe but racy acids, a delicate mousse and a long, sapid finish.

Bettane et Desseauve January - 2020
Bettane et Desseauve
Pinot noir vine planted in 1980, no dosage for this intense golden yellow with a slight pinkish hue. The violet flowers are candied and the red raspberry fruit is slightly distilled. Very beautiful peppery, woody, chalky pigmentation with a warm spicy relief and magnificently fleshy blonde fruit. The feeling of precision is at once intense, charming, fascinating. The concise sensations of grape skin and mirabelle plum browned by the sun seal this sincerity. The mouth is immediately powdered with limestone and gray flint effects, it displays an exceptional length based on a distillate of sloe, mirabelle plum, oriental spices and a powerful energy. Radiant!
