The Premiers Crus of Burgundy represent more than 10% of the wine in Burgundy. In Burgundy, the terroirs are assessed and determine the classification of a wine.

The Premier Cru are small specific plots, called ‘Climat‘, within a Village appellation. We associate the name of the climat directly after the name of the village (Meursault Les Perrières, Vosne Romanée Les Brûlées…).
