Magnan La Gaffelière
Château Magnan La Gaffelière Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is a very old growth. Indeed, it can be traced back to 1777: its owner, then a cooper at La Gaffelière, sold his wine to Horeau Beylot, a wine merchant in Libourne. Over generations, and through recent additional acquisitions, the vineyard has expanded to its current 10.5 hectares. At Château Magnan La Gaffelière, the attentive and constant care given to the vine and grapes, and throughout the winemaking process, aims to produce full-bodied wines where the fruit fully expresses itself after 5 to 10 years.
