Among the most renowned growths of the Côte d'Or, the Domaine Antonin Guyon, owned by the family for generations, extends over nearly 50 hectares.
In Savigny-lès-Beaune, vinification takes place in a beautiful winery that combines traditional methods with the most modern technical means.
The white wines are pressed as whole grapes, the must is clarified by settling and then barreled for complete fermentation in barrels. The wines remain on lees and are stirred once a week, bottling generally takes place after a year, eighteen months for the Corton Charlemagne.
The red wines are destemmed and vinified in open wooden vats with punching down twice a day in the purest Burgundian tradition. Temperatures are controlled to preserve all the aromas as much as possible. After a light settling, the wines are aged for 18 months in oak barrels, part of which are new wood.
All wines are aged in oak barrels and bottled at the estate. The Domaine Guyon has an exceptional range of appellations, mainly distributed among the 1er Crus and Grand Crus from Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny through Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, with all its great Cortons, to Savigny, Beaune, Volnay, and Meursault.
Its wines are renowned for their elegance and remarkable typicity. Its clientele is mainly selected from among the finest restaurants in France and abroad.
