Château Verdignan
Verdignan
The Château Verdignan vineyard covers 60 hectares of beautiful gravelly soil located in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, a neighboring commune of Saint-Estèphe in the Pauillac canton. Within the HAUT-MEDOC appellation, Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne benefits the most from the influence of the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. Château Verdignan's terroir is planted with 65% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet-Franc, and 30% Merlot. The average age of Château Verdignan's vines is about 30 years. From vine cultivation to wine aging, through the seasons, we work with respect for tradition and the environment without rejecting modernism. Château Verdignan's goal is to optimize the quality of our grapes in order to harvest very healthy fruit at full maturity.
