The Jouanda estate (8.5 hectares of vineyard), located in the commune of Arthez d'Armagnac, has belonged to the Poyferré family since the mid-19th century. In the heart of Gascony, the Jouanda estate is particularly well situated in the Grands Crus area of Bas Armagnac, the most renowned region for Armagnac production. To craft our Armagnacs, we follow a five-century-old tradition of production, distillation, and aging of the eau de vie in barrels made from oak trees from the property. All our Armagnacs are vintage-dated, non-blended, non-reduced, and bottled at the estate.
