Château Beauchêne
Beauchêne
The originality and strength of the family vineyard lie in its diversity, spread across three terroirs where the greatest grape varieties flourish on clay-limestone soils. - Cradle of the Bernard family, the oldest terroir is located between Orange and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Here are the oldest vines, planted in 1905, from which the best Châteauneuf-du-Pape cuvées and our Côtes-du-Rhône 1st terroir are produced. - Around Château Beauchêne, the soil, composed of small scree from the Piolenc hill, offers the 36 hectares of vines an ideal terroir for Grenache, Syrah and white grape varieties. - Planted in 1946, the vineyard of Château de Souffles de Costerelle benefits from a privileged environment: a south-facing terroir, preserved nature including a 50-hectare pine forest; sunshine and terroir that allow Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault grape varieties to reach exceptional maturity.
