Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
In my opinion, this brilliantly run property should have been elevated in the recent reclassification of St.-Emilion. This dark ruby-colored wine with a purple center exhibits a spicy, toasty, plum, black-cherry, and cassis-scented nose, and medium-bodied, tannic flavors, with good sweetness, purity, and ripeness. The wine is a backward 1993 that will require 2-4 years of cellaring; it will keep for a dozen or more years.
