Jean-Marc Quarin February - 1990
Jean-Marc Quarin
Straw yellow. Bright. Net. Intense. Different register. Discrete notes, ripe pineapple, honey, quince. Hint of vanilla and plum. Candied and rich. The first wine to have a true nose. According to Mr JAUSSERAND, it takes time for this wine to develop its bouquet. Net. Intense and simple. Dried fruit. Soft attack. Develops on an oily structure which advances very slowly at first but finishes harder compared to the attack to be balanced, losing its homogeneity. It's a shame because there is a long botrytis persistanc. To drink or to store.

Château La Tour Blanche

The Château La Tour Blanche is made from traditional grapes of Sauternes, Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle, this wine is the result of a severe selection. Harvest Chateau La Tour Blanche conducted by "tries" requires 5-6 successive passages in the same rank, in order to obtain only the best of Noble Rot. First cru classé of Sauternes classification, Each vintage of the Chateau La Tour Blanche is vinified and aged in French oak barrels completely new, and is kept for 20 to 24 months.

However, the policy of extreme quality conducted at Chateau La Tour Blanche has led him not to bottle some vintages judged only fair. This was the case for vintages 1992, 1993 and 2000. . The average annual production is 40,000 bottles.
