The Château du Tertre is a vineyard of 80 hectares, located in the Gironde Arsac Margaux. AOC Medoc, it is ranked fifth vintage in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. The vineyards of Chateau du Tertre is composed of a vine up to 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The vines are 40 years of age through.

In 1997, Eric Albada Jelgersma, Dutch businessman, bought the domain Du Tertre where he made significant investments to restructure the whole. Exceptional terroir, and a rare homogeneity, the vineyard Du Tertre is now recognized as one of the strongest potential qualitative Margaux. While modernizing the property of Du Tertre, Eric Albada Jelgersma has kept with his team, combining traditional methods and innovation with tradition.
