Château Tertre Daugay
TERTRE DAUGAY owes its name to its privileged location. Indeed, in the Middle Ages, there was a watchtower there: thus the Saint-Emilion inhabitants were warned of any aggression. The "TERTRE du GUET", like a lookout over a sea of vines, has been watching over the Château's reputation for centuries. The renaissance of Château TERTRE DAUGAY Since 1978, Count Léo de Malet Roquefort has continuously restored and improved the vineyard and cellar while preserving many of these old vines essential to the quality of great wines. In some plots, there are still some hundred-year-old vines, whose fruits receive their richness from several meters deep. Since then, Château Tertre Daugay has continued to confirm its upward progression.
