Château La Passion Haut Brion
The property of one hectare, 31 ares and 57 centiares is located in the heart of the Château Haut-Brion Estate. It was in 1919 that the Allary family acquired it. From 1948, the cultivation and vinification of the plot were entrusted by agreement to Château Haut-Brion, owned by the Dillon family. The vines were then planted with cabernet and merlot, about thirty years old. During the period 1954-1978, part of the harvest (two-thirds) was bottled under the name Domaine de la Passion Haut-brion: these bottles were then reserved for the Allary family. Since 2012, the plot has become the property of Château Haut-Brion. This acquisition is the ideal and natural conclusion for the vines that have produced so many beautiful bottles under the labels of the Estates of both the Dillon and Allary families.
