Basé à Bordeaux, ce grand propriétaire a fait de la qualité son cheval de bataille, son atout pour affronter une concurrence sans cesse croissante dans le secteur du vin. D'où le soin apporté au Château Pape Clément et à ce terroir dont les vertus exceptionnelles font la réputation de Pessac depuis plus de 7 siècles. A Pape Clément la taille et l’effeuillage sont d'une rare exigence de même que l’égrenage qui est effectué la main. Les méthodes de vinification et d’élevage réalisées à Pape Clément suivent des règles très strictes. Tout est mis en œuvre au Château Pape Clément pour que la nature exprime sans entrave ce qu'elle a de meilleur.
