GEORGES LEPRE

Classy wine. Lovely berry, plum and floral character. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, fruity finish. Love to drink this stuff.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
A seductive style of Palmer, the 1997 will have many admirers (assuming they can afford it). It boasts a dark rubyplumpurple color in addition to a seductive bouquet of sweet berry fruit, and an elegant, medium-bodied, fruit-driven, easy-going, fleshy personality. While there is little weight and density, the wine's harmony is excellent.

Château Palmer
Château Palmer

Château Palmer is a wine estate located in Gironde. In the Margaux AOC, it is classified as a third growth in the official 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.

Château Palmer, a grand cru, is a matter of origin in both time and space. The style of Château Palmer, anchored in history and dedicated to expressing its terroir, transcends fashions and trends. To experience its timelessness, there is no better way than to taste it.

The wines of Château Palmer reveal a bouquet of extraordinary complexity where fruits, flowers and spices mingle, wrapped in a fleshy and generous structure. This subtle balance between aromatic richness and tannin power, always restrained, makes it a wine of incomparable charm from its youngest age. Its persistence leaves an intoxicating memory of mixed sensations and emotions.

The best vintages of Château Palmer are 1962, 1971, 1975, 1985, 1989, 1995, 1996, 2004, 2011...
