Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
While certainly not in the same class as the 1979, 1975, 1970, and 1966, Palmer's reputation for quality and finesse is hardly in danger as a result of this effort. Fully mature, with a good dark ruby color, the highly touted Palmer bouquet of berries, flowers, and cassis is readily perceptible. A silky, lush wine.

Colour of gnarled mahogany; harmonious nose that opened up fragrantly; curiously sweet entry leading to a very dry finish. Good fruit, texture, lean but charming.

(6-2010) Decanted one hour before tasting. Somber colour, moderately intense and evolved. Fine nose presenting a fruity blend of blackberry notes with hints of colder notes. It smells like cedar. Melted and subtle in the mouth. that evolves in many flavours, with a medium body, with fat, a touch of austerity and a beautiful aromatic presence in the final.

Château Palmer

Château Palmer

The Château Palmer, is a french estate located in the Gironde Cantenac Margaux. In Margaux appellation, it is ranked third classified growth in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. The Château Palmer Grand Cru is a matter of origin in time and in space. The style of Château Palmer, steeped in history and dedicated to the expression of its terroir, fashions and trends over. To prove its timelessness no better way than to taste.

The Château Palmer reveals an extraordinarily complex bouquet that combines fruits, flowers, spices, wrapped in a generous and fleshy structure. This subtle balance between wealth and power aromatic tannins, still held, in fact a wine of incomparable charm from an early age. His persistence leaves an intoxicating sensations and emotions mixed.
