Revista Adega : Even fresher fruit than the 1987. A more elegant wine with great balance, with very well-polished acidity and tannins. This vibrancy is enhanced by the medicinal profile and black pepper, which is accompanied here by chocolate and a slight dairy profile.

Jane Anson - Inside Bordeaux
The evolution of Opus continues here, with a more modern structure and feel. The wine invites slow sipping, appreciating the juicy blackberry and red cherry notes, fine tannins, and multiple aromatic nuances, ranging from earthy tobacco, campfire, slate, and soot to the freshness of orange peel and lemongrass. Thanks to a generally cool growing season, this wine is less intense than the great vintages, but it is full of charm. 28 days of skin contact maceration, vinified by Patrick Léon and Tim Mondavi.
