Information on the vintage 1955 red Bordeaux: A very good, somewhat underestimated yet useful vintage, now undeservingly neglected. On the whole beneficial weather conditions. A warm sunny summer, welcome showers in September and a decent-sized crop harvested in good conditions.

Château Nenin

Château Nenin is a Bordeaux wine estate located on the Pomerol plateau. In the Pomerol AOC, the Château produces only red wines. The vineyard extends over a single 32-hectare plot, with the exception of one parcel. The average age of the vines is 27 years, and the grape varieties consist of Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Franc (25%).

The quality of Château Nenin wines continues to improve. A very strict selection is made during the harvest, with only 30 to 40% of the production dedicated to the great wines.
