Information on the vintage 1969 red Burgundy:
I think it took a little time to realise that this was by far the finest of the unusually good trio: '69, '70, '71. Happily I have tasted some delicious '69s fairly recently.

Maison Moillard

Since 1850, the date of its creation by Symphorien Moillard, House Moillard carries a long process of winemaking and wine farm which leads to their development. This long and painstaking work takes place in its beautiful caves, you can visit. The House also has Moillard plots in Romania, a large estate Pays d'Oc, and is associated with other owners in Burgundy. Vosne Romanee Red, Red Savigny Les Beaune, Pommard Red, Red Nuits Saint Georges, Gevrey Chambertin Red, White Corton Charlemagne. "From Vines to Cellar". House nuitonne estimated Moillard (Thomas family) knows the coast and known to recruit under his flag happy vintages. Brilliant ruby with purple tints, this santenay passes the first test with a safisfecit. Confit, animal, spicy, complex bouquet questions the jury. The oral exam arrives: the magnitude of the frame and vivacity a little dominant, but that does not interfere with the balance. Result: a wine to be a decent career without a major of his promotion. This happened to many others!.
