Expert's opinions

Medium/full bodied, soft, silky and plush, with a black cherry, cocoa powder and truffle scented nose, the wine finishes with sweet, plums and a hint of chocolate. While already becoming fun to drink, it will be even better with another 3-5 years of bottle age.

Medium intensity color. Fruity nose, smelling of very ripe raspberries and licorice. Juicy, silky, aromatic and quite full on the palate. Wrapped finish and good length. You have to wait for it.

Strong ruby garnet, delicate violet reflections, water rim. On the nose there is a delicate hint of grapefruit zest, red berry confit, a hint of apricots, delicately underlined with dried plum notes. Opulent and juicy on the palate, there is almost no hint of wood, fine extract notes, perfect tannins, sticks very well, great sweetness in the aftertaste, a picture-perfect Pomerol.

Complex, this is a wine that is slashed through with fresh fruit, but that only enhance the dense tannins and solid structure. Yet it preserves a lightness and freshness.

Dense, quite composed, lithe character on the nose with juicy black fruits and a hint of chocolate. Palate has lovely definition. Plenty of dense, fleshy black fruits with a plummy grip and ripeness tannins forceful but chocolaty and rich and bright acidity. Very good

Raspberry and floral aromas follow through to a medium-to-full-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a chocolate, cream and cedar aftertaste. This has mellowed with time. Best after 2012.

Château Latour À Pomerol
Château Latour à Pomerol. After winning in 40.50 and 60 years, among the very finest Bordeaux, Latour à Pomerol has fallen on hard times, producing, in the three decades following wines only very good, not exceptional. In recent years, the thought has gone and joined the pack of twenty of the best Pomerol. In style, it evokes more or La Fleur Petrus Trotanoy, which they compared the time usually its glory. The wines of Pomerol Latour are remarkably colorful and dark, and generally as necessary Pomerol powerful, opulent, and fleshy. The vineyard is composed of two plots, one located near the church of Pomerol, on a bed of deep bass, and another, smaller, on a more sandy soil and lighter.
