Beautiful bright red. Black reflections. Brilliant. Young. Clean. Medium intensity. Fine. Fruity. Very fruity and spicy background but discreet. Ripe aspect like fruit liqueur. Very beautiful caressing entry on the palate and immediately aromatic. The wine evolves caressingly on a spicy (new wood) and fruity taste. The tannin is well in place. Beautiful flavorful length.

Beautiful garnet robe. It needs a moment after opening, then it develops magnificently with black fruits and leather. The wine is medium-bodied with a beautiful balance. Beautiful length on the palate. A very successful wine overall, to be drunk without delay.

(3-2005) Lots of crushed berry and vanilla aromas to this wine. Medium- to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a caressing, refined finish. Almost Burgundian in its mouthfeel. Very fine for La Tour.

Château La Mission Haut Brion
Château La Mission Haut Brion

Château la Mission Haut-Brion is a wine estate located in Talence, Gironde. Situated in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, it is classified as a grand cru in the Graves wine classification. The estate was purchased in 1983 by the Dillon family, owners of Haut Brion. It is undoubtedly this propensity to give everything at once that distinguishes the wines of La Mission Haut-Brion and attracts many tasters. It is also the heightened expression of the Graves de Pessac terroir. Throughout its aging process and as it matures, Mission Haut-Brion is always generous, constantly revealing itself fully. The hedonistic side of Mission Haut-Brion and the consistency of these qualities are particularities that make it very appealing. La Chapelle de la Mission Haut Brion is the estate's second wine.
