(4-2008). Tasted double decanted. The color is dark red and very intense, which is very surprising. It is also evolved. The nose is fruity and almost liqueur-like. It smells of linseed oil. The palate presents itself tight from the attack and the taste seems liqueur-like. It's difficult to analyze. The finish is quite austere.

Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the most emblematic estates of Pessac-Léognan, recognized for the depth, longevity and singularity of its red and white wines. Classified as Cru Classé de Graves, the château shares with its illustrious neighbor Château Haut-Brion an ancient history and an exceptional terroir, while asserting its own stylistic identity, often described as more powerful and more earthy.
