Rather dry on the palate, strong, rich, beefy fruits! A little rustic, great character.

Nice aromas of ripe fruit, spices and chocolate with just a hint of meat. Medium- to full-bodied, with lots of fruit and ripe tannins and a medium finish.

Jeff Leve - The Wine Cellar Insider
Light in color, medium bodied, with a mature nose of tobacco, smoke earth and musty forest scents, the wine ends with a short, sweet and tart, cassis and cranberry note. If you have a bottle, pop the cork as the fruit will only continue to fade from here.

Pale ruby. Sweet and loose. A bit scrawny on the finish.

Château La Mission Haut Brion
Château La Mission Haut Brion

Château la Mission Haut-Brion is a wine estate located in Talence, Gironde. Situated in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, it is classified as a grand cru in the Graves wine classification. The estate was purchased in 1983 by the Dillon family, owners of Haut Brion. It is undoubtedly this propensity to give everything at once that distinguishes the wines of La Mission Haut-Brion and attracts many tasters. It is also the heightened expression of the Graves de Pessac terroir. Throughout its aging process and as it matures, Mission Haut-Brion is always generous, constantly revealing itself fully. The hedonistic side of Mission Haut-Brion and the consistency of these qualities are particularities that make it very appealing. La Chapelle de la Mission Haut Brion is the estate's second wine.
