A lovely wine first tasted in May 1991; then a waxy yellow-green; honeyed botrytis nose; medium-sweet; fairly substantial and excellent acidity. Glorious flavour but still a bit hard. Most recently: now a yellow-gold; harmonious bouquet; delicious flavour; perfect balance.

Domaine Huet

The house Huet in Vouvray, is fortunate to have some properties that lighthouses have always produced great wines even in difficult times, demonstrating that the unwanted noise without region is capable of great things and as such the Domaine Huet is an example. Any experience Christmas Pinguet made to serve the vine and wine along the lines as natural as possible allow close to perfection. The wines vary according to the origins of soils show exquisitely pure calling superlatives. The Mount is in the mineral elegance, the High Place in the flexibility with a tender side, and the Clos du Bourg is the most structured. In 2006 half the crop has been eliminated and the result is superb, Chenin purists will be thrilled!.
