Le Petit Mouton Rothschild 2015 : Vibrant and fresh, this full-bodied Petit Mouton has lifted notes of cassis and blackberry. A wonderful second wine from Mouton, perhaps the best of the last decade. A fairly concentrated, intense red with a fairly long finish.

Carruades de Lafite 2008: Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections. On the nose, black berries with delicately vegetal accents, leaf spices, tobacco, a hint of nougat. Juicy, on the palate initially more towards red berries, fine blueberry compote, fine tannins, mineral and saline on the finish, fresh cherries on the finish, lemony touch on the aftertaste.

Les Forts de Latour 1995 : Dark crimson with some age on the rim. Notes of beef and blood on the nose. Quite open. Already quite soft and round at the front of the palate with fine tannins only at the very end. Drinkable now with food but still has plenty of life. More substantial than the 1996 Forts. Vigorous and powerful.
